BROWNSEA CUB PACK - Hazel Richardson, Cub Scout Leader

We spent a couple of weeks in our March programme undertaking the requirements for the World Faiths Badge. We are grateful to the Rev. Charlotte Elvey for opening Christ Church with St Philip (joint Anglican/Methodist Church) for the Cubs to visit and learn about Christianity. We are also grateful to Rahat Tharani for visiting us and telling us about Islam. In both cases the Cubs asked many questions and as a consequence, 22 Cubs gained their badge.

Our "Leatherhead Ladies" visited us again - Sheena and Hazel (former Cub Scout Leaders) and ran a successful evening just before Easter on the theme of chocolate. One of the many highlights was the blind tasting of Easter Eggs. Our thanks to the Ladies yet again for helping us out.

The Adventure Crest Award has been gained by Jonathan , Aatif and Clive . Well done, boys. Jonathan and Clive have also been promoted to Sixers and we invested Farron into the Pack. We also welcomed Joss up from Birch Beaver Colony.

IMPORTANT - CHANGE OF DATES
Owing to a double-booking at our campsite at Banstead, our Spring weekend camp will now be on 18th and 19th May. Details will be sent to parents separately.
