Brownsea have had a very busy few weeks, we've already started our matball training with lots of throwing and catching games so we can hopefully win back the title. We had our weekend training camp in Banstead where all the new boys learn their basic camping skills i.e. tent pitching, cooking on a fire and making lots of tuneful noise at the campfire. Paul Green and Neil Oxley made a surprise appearance at our camp closing ceremony, and presented Sally and John with their long term awards and also Harry with his warrant certificate. We have welcomed a lot of new boys into the pack recently and for the first year ever we had to have 5 patrols at weekend camp and 'Brown' six has been reinstated on our evening meets.
