Brownsea Pack – Les (Kerick)

We began our autumn programme with an evening of games on the field organised by Harry and Daniel and the following week, Michael led a fitness evening.

In mid-September, we delivered Jumble Sale notices and on our return split into groups learning how to use a compass, mapping symbols, how to tie a reef knot, clove hitch and the more adventurous leaned the highwayman hitch.

Our theme the following week was the senses and again we split into bases with tasting being the most popular.  We had a feeling base trying to work out what different objects were, blindfolded; a sound base working out what different sound effects were; the sight base where we had a “spot the difference” contest and the smell base working out the different smells.
